This is my first as it stands right now. I am on the verge of applying porefiller and finish. I was going to use ktm-9 but my order froze on the delivery truck. It was about 18 below zero the day it arraived. I have a blog that is not up to date but I am adding phots daily.http://stephenboone.wordpress.com/

This is an LMI unserviced highest grade flamenco kit. I braced it a bit differently than a strict flamenco. I am working from the Bogdanovich book which I highly recommend. I kept the binding elements as simple as possible.

Hi Stephen great job and nice blog!
You inspired me!
I'm a classical guitar teacher (for the last 20 years)
I would like to build my own classical guitar.
What kit would you recommend me?

Valentin

Here is my first! I made the neck sides and back out of a pallet found next to a garbage can.
The top is cedar and the bridge and fret board are ebony.
I drew up the plans myself.

Two kits from John Hall at Blues Creek. The 0-16 kit in mahogany and spruce was my first kit and I made that in the spring of 2009. The 00 12 fret in koa I put together in January and February, 2010.

Daughter #1 will get the koa and daughter #2 will get the 0-16. I've got a couple of other partial kits from eBay for future builds and a couple of back and side sets from OLF auctions. I want to scratch build an OLF-SJ later this year.

My first was an archtop inspired when I ran into Dave Weimer's site. This was before I found any forums. Built using Benedetto's book and plan and finished in 2003. I', om number 7 and 8 now. Not so prolific, but I put in the time when I can. It's a passion.

Sorry, one scotch too many last night and I forgot this was for kits. I haven't tried a kit before but I've seen some great ones out there, serviced and unserviced.
